Musical Director-Pete Korpela

Pete J. Korpela is a Latin Grammy Award nominated percussionist.  Since moving to Los Angeles in 1997 he has gained a reputation as a versatile musician in orchestral, latin, jazz, world, rock and pop music. A passion for excellence has paved a way for Pete to continually work with many of the most successful artists, productions and musicians in the US. The most notable touring & recording collaborations: Josh Groban (2011 & 2013 tours), Robbie Williams, The Lion King (2003-07 1st National Tour), Cirque Du Soleil, Ben Gibbard of  Death Cab for Cutie, Jesse Carmichael of Maroon 5, Melody Gardot (2012 tour), Luis Conte, Seth MacFarlane, Ron Jones and Randy Brecker. Performance venues include Madison Square Garden, Lincoln Center, Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Sydney Opera House and O2 Arena (London).

ECHO (Text/Dramaturg) Shana Mirambeau

Shana Mirambeau is a Cuban and Haitian interdisciplinary artist- writer, editor, performer, dramaturgy and spiritual workshop teacher whose work shifts between the layers of multicultural narrative and spiritual mysticism. She has an M.F.A. in Creative Writing with a concentration in Documentary Strategies from the California Institute of the Arts, a dual B.F.A in English and  Women & Gender Studies from California State University of Fullerton. Currently, she serves as a Dramaturgy and writer for ECHO and Creative Director for B. Dunn Movement Dance and Theatre Company. Her work is often collaborative. Collaborations include: Writer /Performer for the Neelamjit Dhillon Quartet, (Komagata Maru, L.A  2015), Writer/ Photographer (The Culture of Tourism, Hawaii, 2014). Shana is also working on a book length poem that explores the process of voice, self, spirit and healing from trauma within the intricate frameworks of a Caribbean family in America. Production Manager-Rebecka Jackson-Moeser

Rebecka Jackson is an interdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles,California. She holds a MFA from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) where she studied film producing and theatrical management.  She is a graduate of the University of Missouri St. Louis where she received her B.A. in Theater and Dance with a concentration in English. She also is the Director Of Operations for Playhouse West Studio 4, James Fanco’s acting and arts school currently based in Los Angeles. Her current work is focused on narrative and documentary film. She is currently in Production with Lydia Hicks on Rediscovering the Scientist, an in-depth documentary analysis on diversity in the sciences and the development of pre-modern, non-western history of science.  

Production Designer (lighting, set, video)-Dan Norman

Dan Norman is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. Holds a BFA in Lighting Design from the School of Theater at California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, CA. Dan's passion for lighting began when he was a young boy in elementary school. As an adult, he has had the opportunity to work for the San Francisco Opera, California Shakespeare Theater, LA Stage Alliance, Diablo Valley College Department of Theater, and several Bay Area dance and theater companies. Dan is eagerly looking forward to the next two years at CalArts, studying and perfecting his skills in lighting, video design, programming, Moving Light Tech, just to name a few and working on other various projects.

Technical Director, Lighting, Set and Video Designer- Iain Court

Iain Court has lit works in medieval churches, circus tents, on riverbanks and in haunted houses as well as many theatres. His lighting in dance and other genres has toured in Australia, Asia, Europe and North America. He is particularly interested in collaborative new media performance and installation. He is also a director and performer and has worked in arts education for the Sydney Opera House, National Institute for Dramatic Arts in Australia and several universities. He won the David Helfgot award for his contribution to Accessible Arts in Australia. Recent collaborations have been with critically acclaimed Corningworks Glue Factory in Pittsburgh and  The Day Shall Declare it in Downtown LA and Gerald Cassel Dances in SFC. He is Currently the Lighting Designer and Technical Director for the Sharon Disney Lund School of Dance at CALARTS.
